For Class I to V:
10+2 or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)
OR
1 year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
For Class VI to VIII :
B.Sc., B.Com., B.A., BCA Graduate with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (BTC/CT – Nursery)
OR
2 years Nursery Teacher Training
OR
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Note:
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc./Senior secondary level is admissible for SC/ST Candidates.

if you are general candidates and u have in graduation 49.99% marks and in B.Ed you have 60% marks and you are in general candidates so you are not eligibile for uptet.means here should be 50% marks in graduation compersory.and if you are general candidates. if You are reserved candidates like SC,st,OBC so u have relaxation for tet exam means if u have 45% marks in graduation and in B.Ed if u have third devision so u can apply for uptet exam
