What do you mean by web personalization?
Ans. Web personalization is the process of customizing a Web site to the needs of specific users, taking advantage of the knowledge acquired from the analysis of the user’s navigational behavior (usage data) in correlation with other information collected in the Web context.
On the web site tailoring the presentation of a website’s content to match a specific user’s instructions or preferences is called web personalization. This custom tailoring is accomplished either by the user choosing from a menu of available alternatives or by tracking his or her behavior (such as which pages are accessed and how often) on the site.
