Karnataka Canceled B.Ed Entrance Exam 2011 Admission through Online Application
Karnataka Department of Public Instruction & DIET announced that the B.Ed Entrance exam will be canceled from this year. There are as much as 40,000 B.Ed seats in 428 colleges in Karnataka. But there are not many aspirants who take B.Ed course. Last year only 19,000 aspirants applied for seats and everyone got the seats. So govt. has decided to cancel the Entrance exam & get admissions through the merit.
The application process for B.Ed Admissions also made online from this year. The candidates seeking B.Ed admission can apply through online from 14.09.2011 www.trsforms.com/cac/main.asp.

- Last date for filling online application form – 30.09.2011
- Last date for Journal Number entry – 04.10.2011
Education Qualification :
Passed in 3 years degree (BA/B.Sc) courses with minimum of –
- 50% Marks for General and OBC Candidates
- 45% Marks for SC/STCat-1/PH Candidates
Application Fee :
- General and OBC Candidates – Rs. 200/-
- SC/ST/PH Candidates – NIL
[Payable t State Bank of Mysore in the challan generated through Online Application]
