Karnataka Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer affairs decided to identify duplicate ration card and cancel those cards. They starts the registration for Ration Card through Online Application for this purpose. The booking of Ration Card starts already. There will be no last date to book Ration Card. For identifying and canceling duplicate Ration Cards in Karnataka, the department has temporarily stopped the booking of new ration cards.
Till now almost 12 lakh duplicate Ration Cards have been identified & canceled. Still the verification process is on progress.
Families who don’t have Ration Card, Members of Divided Families, Newly Married, Temporary Ration Card Holders whose card is expired can apply for the ration card.
