Indian Institute of Technology or IIT conduct Joint Entrance Examination or JEE every year to take admission in all seven IITs all over India. Every year they take around 8,000 undergraduate candidates form all over India. In those sits their are some sits reserved for SC, ST, OBC candidates.
IIT decided to change their admission process from next session. Till this year their was no minimum criteria to be on the rank list. But from next year this will change. IIT put minimum criteria on rank list.
According to the new rule, The candidate or student who gave JEE he/she has to get minimum marks to qualify. Their will be minimum qualifying marks on aggregate also.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
Math: 10%
Physics: 10%
Chemistry: 10%
Aggregate: 35%
IIT Delhi announce this news and also says that this process will continue from the 2012 session.
